Mokolé Mokoyaala Mokosheela Mokolela
These choirs sing, dance and drum with body and soul - Africa comes alive in every performance. Thus their music is a journey through the dark continent every time: From Ghana to South Africa via the Congo and to the countries of East Africa.
They draw from the musical connection to the original. They learn their songs and their choreographies by young artists from South Africa and Ghana. Francis Baffoe enriches the choir rehearsals and workshops with songs from his native Ghana. A particular source of inspiration is the cooperation with Thabang Mokoena from South African Heidelberg (Johannesburg) and the Lesedi Show Choir directed by him, a unique, powerful and captivating ensemble.
